Basketball!!

This year Chris is playing for a high school basketball team. His first game was Monday night and I was able to go and watch. His team didn't win, but they still played quite well. I am looking forward to attending more games in the future, so there might be some more of these kind of posts!! Plus I will be posting Isaiah and Noelle's game soon as well.

10 Puppies!!!!!!!!!

I apologize for delaying this post, but the last puppy wasn't born until 12:38am (He is the only one with his own birthday!!). I was exhausted, yes I know that sounds dumb it was Lacey having the puppies, but I had been up Friday night and Saturday night off and on to check on her. As the title says, she had ten puppies!! We have 7 girls and only 3 boys!! It is kind of funny because it is very similar to our family (6 girls 3 boys). They all make the cutest noises ever!! Even though this was a very unplanned pregnancy, we will enjoy them for now until they climb out of the pool and makes messes and get into EVERYTHING!! All the puppies are black with some white markings on them.

Lacey is such a great mommy!

This one kept climbing on top of Lacey =0

They love cuddling with mommy.

180 Project

Yesterday my dad, myself, Chris, Rebekah, Isaiah and Noelle had an incredible life changing experience handing out the new movie done by Living Water Publications (Ray Comfort) called 180. If you haven't heard about (or seen) this movie you MUST!! It is on Youtube and its only about 33 minutes long so get to watching it and share it with ALL your family, friends, and whoever else! The movie compares the World War II holocaust of Adolf Hitler to America's modern day holocaust of abortion. More than a life changing day for us, our prayer is that it was life changing for the college students AND faculty of University of Southern Maine as we spent several hours handed out FREE DVD's. This date had been kept quiet until well, yesterday, and all across the country God-fearing, children-loving Christians stormed the gates of indoctrination (AKA college campuses) to pass out the DVD's. Here are the pictures from yesterday...

Rebekah hands out a DVD to a student...

Here is the chaplain talking with my dad telling us we needed a table and a permit

*clears throat* a C-H-A-P-L-A-I-N!! Yes, we ended up having to leave the school, but we had passed out all but 31 of the DVD's that we had for that campus by the time we were asked to leave! Praise God!!

Mr Hubbard talking with a student.

Some of the team gathered seeing how everyone is doing with handing DVD's out...

My friend Elizabeth passes out a couple of DVD's to these students...

Mr. Hubbard had a couple of very interesting conversations and this one was very interesting but Mr Hubbard did a great job defending the TRUE faith.

Elizabeth took a picture of me while I took a picture of her!

A Post of Closure

Though it is very uncharacteristic of me to do just thought posts on this blog, I have been thinking alot about some things lately and decided that I needed to write this post. So this post is more for me than anything and my prayer is that it may help someone else along the way...

Dear Olivia,

Has it really been a month since you went to be with Jesus? It seems like just last week we heard and rejoiced with your family when they found out they were expecting you. And wasn't it just yesterday at the rest stop that Cloe and Audrey ran over to me with proud smiles across their faces saying, "It's a girl!! It's a girl!! Her name is Olivia Hope!!" But then I am brought back to reality that it wasn't just last week or yesterday and that now you are smiling down on us and dancing on streets of gold. Even though I never met you, you had already stolen my heart and I couldn't wait to see your face and your beautiful curly hair. I wondered what you would look like, what personality you would have, and what your favorite things to do would be. I could already see you playing on Sunday afternoons with all the kids. You were the 3rd baby to be born in a one year span at our little church.

And even though you never met you mom and dad, I can't even begin to tell you how much they love you. Every time when I was at your house I heard them pray for you and your little soul. And your big sisters adored you already and talked all the time about you! You would not of had to worry about being protected because you would have had the best big brothers! They also couldn't wait for your arrival and Joel couldn't wait to be a big brother for the first time! Even though you never experienced any human experiences, you were spared the trials of this life and went on before us to be with our Savior. Olivia, you will always be loved, treasured, and remembered and I know you will be the first to welcome your family into heaven after the Lord welcomes them saying, "Well done my good and faithful servant, enter into your rest.". Even though we miss you terribly, I know that God had greater plans for your little life. I love you Olivia!

Love with all my heart, Lindsey

Hand Prints on My Heart

Although you are not here with me, Your handprint is on my heart.

You were a precious gift to me us, I loved you from the start.

You left this earth too early, And Landed on heaven's shore.

I snuggle in the memory of you. Oh how I love you even more.

You are never far away from us, For your memory's a steady stream.

I will never say good bye to you, So I'm wishing you sweet dreams.

Someday we'll be together again, But until that one fine day,

You are the hand print on my heart, Where forever you shall stay.

He WILL Carry Me

I call, you hear me

I've lost it all

And it's more than I can bear

I feel so empty

You are so strong

I'm weary

I'm holdin' on

But I feel like your givin' in

But your still with me

Chorus:

And even though I'm walkin' through

The valley of the shadow

I will hold tight to the hand of Him

Whose love will comfort me

And when all hope is gone

And I've been wounded in the battle

He is ALL the stregnth that I will ever need

He WILL carry me

I know I'm broken

But you alone

Can mend this heart of mine

You're always with me

Chorus

And even though I feel so lonely

Like I've never been before

You never said it would be easy

But you said you would see me through

The storm

Chorus

Please Pray

Our sovereign and all-knowing God sometimes allows circumstances that we presently, or never, understand. You may be wondering what I am trying to get at. Our family was given the news this evening that some dear, dear friends of ours have lost their precious daughter Olivia just a few short weeks from delivery, while still in the womb. I am asking that everyone would please keep the Miller family in prayer during this extremely difficult time. They also have 5 other children who also need our prayers.

Sometimes it seems easy to read passages in scripture that talk about the Lord giving and the Lord taking, but it is ever so hard to put this into practice especially when a situation like this arises. In my finite human mind, the first thought that came to my mind, like probably others, was why? Why would the Lord take away a child from a family that they have never even held, and yet they had been praying for this child since they knew of her conception? Though thoughts like these may never be answered and in any human mind it doesn't seem even logical or "fair", we can rest in the Lord's promises that never fail.

"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."

Psalm 34: 17-19

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite."

Psalm 147: 3-5

What God Hath Joined Together...

Recently I had the amazing opportunity to be the second photographer at a wedding!! I was very excited to have been asked. Of course I was really nervous with all the "what-ifs" questions going through my mind. Everything went very smoothly and I enjoyed the wedding very much! A few days ago I met with the other photographer and we went through the pictures and made a few edits to mine with her PhotoShop program on her Mac Book Pro. So now I am completely in love with the Mac Book Pro and someday hope to get one... before they are irrelevant!!!! Obviously I had a few hundred pictures from the day, so I just picked a very small amount so that I could blog them! Enjoy!!!

This is the bride's brother and nephew, and even though they were not apart of the wedding, it is one of my favorite picture of the day. And by the way, it looks even better on a Mac Book Pro ;)

First dance :)

I am not sure if there will be more pictures of the wedding or not, I had planned on doing more but it takes quite a bit of time to uplaod, so we'll see!
