Sibling Affection

I hope you enjoy these pictures of pure adorableness (not sure if that is a word or not ;)!!

Katie adores Tim, as Tim does Katie as well, and her face just lights up whenever she sees him!

First a hug..

Then a kiss. (Please don't mind the messy background, I was in the middle of trying to clean when I saw their interaction and had to get some pictures!)

Our piglets have arrived for this year just yesterday and they are SO cute!! We have never had this many different colors and markings in a batch of piglets. This year we are going to raise 6 which is less than last year's 9, but still a fair amount. Enjoy the photos!!

Maple Syruping

While helping some friends with their family-sized maple sugaring operation, we were able to tour a farm that has a huge operation and learn some more interesting facts about maple sugaring. Here are a few pictures of the huge evaporator that cranks out 30-34 gallons of syrup an hour and goes through 1 gallon of heating oil every 2 minutes!! Here is a little fact: It takes about 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup!!

The giant hood...

Noelle (on the left) and friend Chloe listen to the gentleman as he was talking about the evaporator.

The Hat

I was keeping Katie entertained the other day in a Wal-Mart parking lot with my hat and she was so cute with it on I couldn't resist putting pictures up!

At first she wasn't so sure...

Then a sign of a grin... Then all smiles!!!!!

Demo Time!!

Here are some photos of what we have been up to for house projects...

Taking down the old horse-hair plaster..this time in the boys room. That stuff makes a mess! Before the dust was bad, Dad let Noelle and Hannah take a few whacks at the wall. Noelle winds up for a hit!!

After watching Noelle, Hannah tries her hand at it as well!!

The whole room is stripped down to the studs and insulation will soon be tacked up. It should make a huge difference with heating/cooling seeing as there was no insulation in the walls!
