Sibling Affection

Our piglets have arrived for this year just yesterday and they are SO cute!! We have never had this many different colors and markings in a batch of piglets. This year we are going to raise 6 which is less than last year's 9, but still a fair amount. Enjoy the photos!!

Maple Syruping

While helping some friends with their family-sized maple sugaring operation, we were able to tour a farm that has a huge operation and learn some more interesting facts about maple sugaring. Here are a few pictures of the huge evaporator that cranks out 30-34 gallons of syrup an hour and goes through 1 gallon of heating oil every 2 minutes!! Here is a little fact: It takes about 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup!!

I was keeping Katie entertained the other day in a Wal-Mart parking lot with my hat and she was so cute with it on I couldn't resist putting pictures up!

Demo Time!!

Here are some photos of what we have been up to for house projects...

Taking down the old horse-hair plaster..this time in the boys room. That stuff makes a mess!

Before the dust was bad, Dad let Noelle and Hannah take a few whacks at the wall. Noelle winds up for a hit!!

After watching Noelle, Hannah tries her hand at it as well!!

The whole room is stripped down to the studs and insulation will soon be tacked up. It should make a huge difference with heating/cooling seeing as there was no insulation in the walls!

Valentine Party

My very special friend, Sarah, hosted a Valentine's party in February. We all had a great time!! Sarah was an excellent host and we enjoyed AMAZING food, a good movie, and having fun together. Oh, not to mention I got to wear a very formal dress (which since my aunt's wedding [I was the flower girl] I have not gotten to wear a pretty dress like that!!). Here are a some pictures...
