Lindsey and Cainey

Sadly, last Friday our horse had to leave and got to a new home due to her injury and her sometimes naughty behavior while we were riding or working with her. It was a VERY hard decision to make, but ultimately I think it was the best one and even though it was really hard for her to go (and it still it lonely without her), maybe someday we will own a horse we can use. So anyway, here are some pictures of Cainey and I before her departure.

Where do I begin????

If anyone still looks at this blog... yes, I am still alive and and happy that finally I have taken the time to post some pictures!! As my title states, I really don't know where to begin with 900+ pictures taken with my *new* camera!! Here are some sweet ones of Katie who is already 2 months old!!

Animal Pictures

I decided that because I have lots of pictures I would break them down into seperate post so that I wouldn't have a post that was a mile long!

Lacey celebrated her 2 year anniversary with us this past month!!

I am very happy to say that my Nikon D5000 arrived on Friday afternoon!! I LOVE it!! It still hasn't sunk it that it is my camera and I'm still getting used to it. I haven't gone much further than "Auto" picture mode and I shot a few pictures using some "Scene" selections, but it is an AMAZING camera and I'm thrilled to own it! Right now I do not have time to do all kinds of posts with the already over 300 pictures I've taken, but for now here is a little sample...
